dreams

as i write, my eyes are still somewhat closed, my mind is somewaht delayed. what happened? i just woke up from a dream :P. this one i actually remembered since i just woke up, but dreams...now what are they, seeing as how psychologists and psychoanalysts have tried to answer that question for awhile now.

but waht are they? so many times they're random, but in those cases where they are vivid, waht do they mean? are they a prediction of the future? a vision of waht you want most in life at that moment? what are they?

well i may not have much experience with this, as i don't often remember my dreams, i'm quick to forget them unless i write them down, which is rarely. but here's my take on dreams. dreams, in a way, are similar to my analysis on life. the thing about dreams, is that there's so much going through your mind that the chance of it being something significant isn't that great. however insignificant it may be, each dream is important. dreams, to me, can be an escape, for a few hours, you're not in the "real world", living your life, experiencing stress. dreams are a way to i guess, "experience something different". when you dream, there's so much that can happen. it's like reading a book for me, it takes you to another world, imagination is key, of which i have alot of if any of you know me ^_^. i don't really think of dreams as something important, no more important that those times when we were kids pretending to be superheroes, princesses, or wahtever. those times weren't to predict waht we would do later, they were because we're kids, trying to have fun. dreams are like that. no matter how old we get, i'm sure there's still a small part that wants to still be a kid, to still have fun. and perhaps dreams are an outlet for that small part to do its magic, to remind us that joy that can occurr when we use our imagination :)

that's all for today
